Steve (aka Moe) had a vision after working his way up the corporate ladder. A graduate of University of Massachusetts with a degree in Logistic Management, Steve's "hands on experience" includes operation, operations manager, sales & terminal manager. After 12 years in the corporate world, the vision came true!! The vision of providing superior service at competitive prices with the "creative touch" is something "every entrepreneurial American should experience." Steve is active in several Industry associations as well as several charity associations including: Transportation Intermediary Association (TIA), Association for Transportation Law (ATL), American Heart Association (AHA), American Cancer Association (ACA), & Delta No Alpha (National Transportation Association).

Steve C (aka "little Steve") is nothing of the sort!! Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Bryant College. Experience in the Transportation Industry includes Operations, Account Executive & Service Center Manager spanning a 12 year period. Steve prides himself on being a focused, results oriented individual. His last position operating a Class 1 Terminal for a national carrier (CCX) allowed him the opportunity to build and operate the most profitable and efficient service center in the Northeast!! "Nothing is Generic" in the industry today," Steve notes. "The creative experience Moe-Mentum Systems allows me in fulfilling our customer needs is an exciting place to be positioned!!

Jan is the senior employee for the organization in terms of service. An eight year veteran, she has worn many hats throughout the years. As Billing Specialist, Collections Specialist and Operation Specialist, Jan understands the business inside out. "I look forward to coming to work," Jan states. "The teamwork at Moe-Mentum is second to none!! There is no service we cannot handle!!"

Tom brings to Moe-Mentum 7 years experience of Operation Management. Working for a leading ISO 9002 Certified trucking company (Roadway Express), enabled Tom to grasp the "nuts and bolts" of the industry from the ground floor. Responsibilities included sales, customer relations, tracking and tracing shipments, rate quoting and billing. A graduate of Bridgewater State College with a degree in Management Science, Tom is now continuing his studies in that field working toward a graduate degree that he plans to complete by 2005.

What were the determining factors contributing to Tom's decision to come on board? "The opportunity to service the customer in many different ways. The flexibility we have at Moe-Mentum Systems to move freight in an efficient, expedited, cost-efficient manner is second to none!! I did not realize these numerous options (Volume LTL, Expedited Service, Flatbed Movement, Liftgate Service, Logistic Service etc.) were available to move general commodities at such a cost effective and efficient manner." Concludes Tom, "I know where the future is in the movement of General Volume LTL Shipments!!"

Chris joins the Moe-Mentum team with 5 years of industry experience from the UPS Norwood, MA facility, as well as higher-education in the Transportation Logistics field from UMass Boston and Mass Bay Community College. Starting out as a union employee with a ground floor, labor intensive position, Chris observed and soaked up the ins and outs of load consolidation, package sorting and safety procedures, as well as basic HAZMAT regulations.

With an eventual promotion to Operations Manager, Chris worked with a crack team of intelligent and experienced individuals in staffing and setting up the local sort night shift, while training both rookie and veteran employees in all necessary methods and procedures. “Knowing what it really takes to run an operation, and how every single piece directly affects the whole puzzle really gives me an appreciation for good, quality teamwork and work ethic. Moe-Mentum provides the Customer with superior Service and much more, making me feel good about what we accomplish here every day! This, along with the excellent Carriers portfolio we have under contract to us makes us a confident leader in the Northeast market!!!!!! All of this allows me great confidence when working the business on a daily bases!!!”

The newest addition to the team, Ryan is a recent graduate of Northeastern University’s College of Business Administration. His education concentrated in Supply Chain Management as well as a minor in Industrial Engineering. Moe-Mentum Transportation Inc is his first step into the Transportation Industry!.

Ryan is excited by the fast paced world of Freight Management and thrives on our tight-knit, highly motivated sales and operations team at Moe-Mentum. “Though we are a small company we have many outstanding Carriers and Technological Resources at our disposal to provide great Customer Service!
